    Morley: Thanks for the info. I only counted six in my research
    Georgia, Missouri , Mississippi , Michigan, Illinois, and North Carolina.
    Let me know if these others you found are counties or townships

    I saw your column in paper “How many do you remember?” and I truly enjoyed it. You brought back lost memories. I also remember my Grandmother getting a television back in 1952. They (the TV’s)were new to Macon and we watched the “soaps”. I can remember listening to the radio because that is all we had. Can’t understand reason why they took “Guiding Light” off the air? I guess they will all be replaced one day. People that don’t watch them don’t understand.
    Wish you would write a book on the memories. I sure would buy a couple. You sure write good articles.
